When God led the people of Israel through the wilderness, He instructed them to remember the events that had happened through the generations. Likewise, when we look back at the pages of our history, we can learn many lessons and understand how God has guided us as Christians throughout history. When we are uncertain about the right path, historical events serve as signposts and guides. Such histories become valuable treasures that God has given to every generation. They provide direction and inspiration for future generations through dedication and sacrifice. It is our responsibility not only to preserve this treasure for ourselves but also to pass it on to the next generation. Christian historical societies are among the organizations committed to this important task. The author of this book, S. Sujith, completed his Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) studies at Bethel Theological College in 2022. Since 2022, he has been serving as a catechist/minister in the Tirunelveli Diocese of the Church of South India. He has written articles on church history, archaeological research, and historical journals. His book, “Christian Politics”, reflects on the role of Christians in politics, the political context of Jesus Christ and the early Church, and Christian perspectives on justice and integrity. I express my appreciation for this book and convey the gratitude of the Christian Historical Society to the author for granting permission to publish it.
